But Acadly isn’t just changing. It’s evolving.

We’re excited to be a part of the rapidly evolving education space and things here move fast. When the pandemic hit the world, the higher-education space underwent a radical transformation driven by the need to adapt. And we’ve come out at the other end renewed, energized, and more creative than ever before.

Our brand and design transformation that’s been driven by external as well as internal forces. As higher-ed changes, so do we. And we’re here to represent something new, something better. Something that does justice to the cheetah-esque evolution of education, and the evergreen love for learning a little better, every day.

When we launched Acadly 2.0 in 2018, we had three pillars: to deliver more power to our users, to become easier-to-use, and to be more flexible as a tool. And why fix what ain’t broken? So we retain all three objectives, as we have almost throughout our journey.

The two new pillars we’re introducing this time around are:

To be more user-centered

We recognize that Acadly is different things to different people. We’re an attendance automation, or a Student Response System, or a Virtual Classroom platform, or a combination of a few of these things — depending upon how you use Acadly.

To be enterprise-ready

Acadly’s design extends beyond what instructors see in the Basic and Pro versions. Our Enterprise version helps universities truly unlock the sheer power of Acadly with LMS (and Zoom) integration. Here’s a glimpse of how we’ve collaborated with one of our enterprise customers!

Lesser work for instructors

Changes aren’t limited to the way the product looks. We have improved the user experience to eliminate any extra manual work before/after class.

  • No more clicking “start class” or “end class” for teachers — Acadly has automated it all for you.
  • No more “checking in” for students — auto-attendance will capture their presence in the lecture.
  • Teaching is now enabled in HD, with 720p video resolution activated on Acadly’s Zoom integration.

Class activities are becoming awesomer

How do you grade subjective one-liner answers? How do you encourage online students to participate without the fear of judgment? Acadly’s Fall 2022 feature launches take care of several such questions and this work is set to continue with Acadly 3.0.

  • Allow anonymity in discussions to help students give feedback, ask questions, and express opinions
  • Keep award points private to only you and the author in topical discussions, therefore grading comments without the grade being visible to the other students.
  • Ask sorting/ordering type questions in quizzes, in addition to the pre-existing true/false and multiple-choice type questions.

Zero-tap attendance

Automatic attendance on Acadly is now even better.

  • Schedule attendance for the whole term in a go, thereby never having to do anything manually during your lectures.
  • See real-time troubleshooting tips during attendance which tell you if students haven’t opened the app, which student hasn’t provided requisite permissions, and so on.

Integrated LMS with twin plugins for teachers and admins

Acadly’s LMS integration helps instructors streamline the administrative aspects of their experience, and helps administrators get insights into teaching and learning across the institution, with:
